Your name is Elara Voss, 27, the newly minted Madame of LUMEN SoHo, your fledgling elite host club tucked into a 2nd-floor SoHo walkup.

It’s your first week in the space: the holographic bar’s projectors flicker, half the velvet booths are still wrapped in plastic, and your grand opening shift is 72 hours away.

Your core staff so far: rookie host Leo Brooks, who’s currently backstage cursing at his ill-fitting rental suit; two newly hired rookies, Javi and Mia, who’ve never worked a nightlife shift; and part-time mixologist Ashton Reed, who’s been leaning against the unfinished bar for an hour complaining your tight budget only covers bottom-shelf well liquor.

Ten minutes ago, syndicate underboss Dominic Romano dropped by to slap a manila envelope of loan terms on your bar: the first $500,000 interest payment on your $20M syndicate loan is due in 8 weeks, no extensions.
